Lecithin is a naturally occurring mixture of different fats whose consistency varies from a waxy mass to a thick pourable liquid. The fats may come from eggs, legumes and whole grains. It enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. It also help to form emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified.
