Your Skincare Routine Matters
What’s the Best Skincare Routine For Me?
While a skincare routine should be unique to your skin and its needs, there are some basics steps that everyone should follow:
- Prep: Remove make-up, dirt and pollution, which can lead to skin problems (acne, dullness etc). And, ready it for products applied on top. Essential at night; optional in the morning.
- Protect/Prevent: Use a good sunscreen and antioxidants every morning, help to protect skin and prevent damage associated with exposure to UV rays and pollution.
- Perfect: Depending on your individual skin issues, moisturizers, face oils, serums or other specialized treatments may be required. We’re big fans of a retinoid each night.

How Do I Make the Switch to Apothekari?
We’d never recommend that you throw out all the products in your current skincare routine! Replace just one product at a time as you run out and start with the two serums in our Radiant Skin Set. Designed for morning and nighttime use, the combination of these two products make a big difference to the look and feel of your skin!
How Is Apothekari Different to Other Natural Skincare Brands?
Our founder is a pharmacist so we go beyond being ‘natural’ (an unregulated term when it comes to skincare). Our results-driven products are clinically formulated, naturally safe & made with clean ingredients to make you look and feel your very best.
Is Apothekari Vegan or Gluten-Free?
Some of our products are vegan and most are gluten free! Check the ingredient list on our individual product pages. When it comes to gluten free, please keep in mind that our products are not made in a certified gluten free facility.
Is Apothekari Organic?
At Apothekari we focus on sourcing the safest and most effective ingredients for our formulations, using a combination of both synthetic and plant-based items. Our products contain some organic ingredients, but we can’t rely on them solely to deliver the results that you deserve.
Are Your Products Non-Toxic?
Absolutely! We avoid the use of potentially harmful ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrances, synthetic dyes, or any other harmful ingredients. More here. Plus, our products are registered with Health Canada, giving you peace of mind as well.
Are Your Products Nut Free?
While most of our products are nut free, some do contain nut oils. However, because we don’t use a certified nut free laboratory to produce our products, we can’t guarantee that they are nut free.
Is Apothekari Cruelty Free?
None of our products are tested on any animals (except willing humans of course!).
Do You Use Preservatives?
Your safety comes first! Preservatives are essential to ensure your wellbeing, so we use them in our products as needed. Some items, like oils, can be made without the use of preservatives. Apothekari avoids using parabens or formaldehyde releasing preservatives. And, we package our products in containers that minimize exposure to air, light and fingers to extend their life and reduce the risk of contamination.

We’re proudly Canadian and manufacture our products with certified labs and registered pharmacies in Canada and North America.
Is Your Packaging Recyclable?
We prioritize safety and efficacy because your wellness comes first. Our plastic containers help to minimize contact with light, air and dirty hands, helping to extend the shelf-life and reduce the contamination of our products. Plus, these containers will not break in your bathroom, lessening the risk for harming yourself. All our containers are recyclable. Depending on where you live, and local recycling rules, you may need to rinse containers before recycling.

Do You Offer Samples?
Call or email us and we will be happy to send out product for you to try. Depending on whether there are other products in your order, there may be a shipping fee associated with samples and we will let you know prior to shipping. Samples cannot be returned and are non-refundable.
How Can I Pay for My Order?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express through the website.
Do You Ship Internationally?
We ship to Canada, the USA and select international destinations worldwide. If you see your country listed during checkout, then we can ship to you. Please read our shipping policy for full details.
